Memento Mori

So many incredible things have unfolded this year, both good and bad.

I’ve learned many lessons, but the most significant one is the value of time. “Memento Mori” has been the most prominent stoic principle in my life this year.

As you get older, there aren’t many “first-time” experiences that make you want to write a letter home. Yet, to my complete surprise, I’ve had so many new experiences this year that it often feels like I’m dreaming.

There are too many stories to tell and certainly not enough time to even list them all. Until the moment comes when I can share them, I want to talk about the most important one: I’ve met my soulmate. Her name is Christina. I really do owe it to her and the depth of her character to shed more light on the subject but time simply does not allow me this freedom.
